I am not a roadie!

So I am chilling here in SoCal, met some kool dudes and some creepy wheel suckers. Anyway so far from talking to people they thought I was either A) skateboarder B) Mountain biker. Closest I got to being perceived as a roadie is when someone asked if I raced in Junior division. Do I really look THAT young? I mean judging from my posts one might conclude that, but in person?

I would've guessed early twenties. You do have a youthful look to me (not in a bad way).

Have you met any of the other BF'ers?

Yeah rode with some of them today. Umm NorCal ride was more social. Finally got to wear my NorCal Jersey. It's awesome! Small fits me nicely, which is kind of sad couple years ago medium felt snug. I lost tons of upper body muscle this year.
Haven't tried the bibs yet, but the padding seems similar to my performance bibs which doesn't sound too promising.

Which SoCal'ers ... you haven't socialized until you've ridden with the likes of MErider1, Happytime, herbm, grumpypig, extort, ronjon, just to name a few. But then again, you were probably riding the flat ride. I know a bunch of them were up climbing Red Box/Grassy Hallow ...

Yep since May. It's a combination of 12 weeks minimum for this type of fracture to hit, and now me waiting for my health insurance from UCI to kick in.

Yep, most of it is flat by NorCal "at least half and hour of climbing" standards. Not that there is anything wrong with that, my average speed went up! he he
