Yesterday's Central Valley Classic Crit in Fresno
What a show! The place was packed in the Tower District and the cyclists were flying. I caught bothe Women's and Men's pro Crits. Fabulous!
Everyone is so close to the action. My 9 and 6 year old kids loved it.
Here's an article from the Fresno Bee - https://www.fresnobee.com/330/story/34771.html
Henk Vogels won the Men's Pro Crit, his first win since his horrible accident. Looks like he's back.

The wife and I headed down to the Tower District on that Sunday for some lunch at Irene's. We were unaware that a bike race was in the works. That was a couple of months back and it got me thinking that I'd like to get on a bike again. I know I'm never going to be racing anything like what was on display that day, but I'll have my new bike soon and I'm looking forward to getting out there. For at least one person, this race event was inspirational.
