Just wondering....I usually try to buy things at my local bike shop (victory velo) but I am not beyond taking advantage of a great deal online. What kind of cycling things have you purchased lately?

Just ordered a new nameplate for the one that popped off my right 105 shifter. Picked up a few Pedros products (degreasers, cleaners, etc). Took the lady shopping at Performance and REI last Friday for cycling clothes (couple jerseys, pair of shorts) and I got some more socks, a couple of pump straps, another bottle cage. I was disappointed at the jersey selection at REI. I wanted to use my dividend to get something fun, I guess I'll be ordering my Black Butte Porter jersey online instead.

I think my last bike-related purchase was at REI too. A Topeak floor pump for my dad and a 12-26 9-spd SRAM cassette for myself that I found in the clearance bin.

Jeffremer - where'd you find the nameplate things for the 105 shifters? I always see them for the Ultegra and DA's but never for the 105's!
As for watcha bought laterly... nothing yet... but I am looking for a good deal on the Shimano R700 compact crank! I was gonna get wheels but after talking to folks in the Bay Area they recommended a compact cranks instead since my budget for wheels was only about $300...

06 Fuji Team pro with all Ultegra and a Durace Rear D thrown in for luck. New saddle (Avatar), tire pump, and saddle bag for the fuji, and a Garmin 205 NIB (already have heart rate monitor) to be shared between the Fuji and the tandem. New Durace chain for the tandem (broke the stock one twice).

Powerful stokers can do some damage. I guess it's the price you pay for the power in the back.

I brought home a 2007 Cervelo R3 on Monday. I swapped out the cranks and put some Shimano Dura-ace cranks and will be switching out the Easton Circuits for some Mavic Ksyrium ES's once they come in! All I can say is WOW! An incredible bike compared to the POS I was riding before!
