I cant remember my password sio this one is pretty dern close. You can do it so dont even start. You were afraid of Old La Honda and then you shot up it like a rocket. Only we take Pescadero to Stage.

On the route, on the descent down 84, you might want to consider a stop at the General Store in La Honda, just before Pescadero Rd. If you really want a bailout point, you could make a left at Pescadero Rd, then climb up Alpine, but that's not that much easier either.

Another alternative may be to hang a left on Skyline (Hwy 35) from Old La Honda, then continue south to Hwy 9, then make a left, and proceed down through Saratoga, and wind through the maze back to the start. However, the ride to the coast is a very popular route, and a good one.

Unless I find childcare, I'm limited to a 4 hour ride on either Saturday anytime after 9am or Sunday 1-5pm....

I did the GW Bike Rally last year. I have most of the route slips. Once you get your route slips, you are on your own the rest of the weekend. They did have one century that went from Paso Robles, down through Morro Bay, up through to Cambria, then back on 46 to Paso Robles. However, it was not a planned century, so there were no rest stop (sorry, Check Points, for all you doubles riders).

Come join us ... you can witness Upenuf first hand!
