Windy Wednesday
What's with this wind . I just finished a Portola loop from San Mateo. The head wind as I was traveling north on Canada reduced my normal speed by 5 to 10 mph. I did not see many cyclists on the road.

Good thing I didn't ride today. Yesterday the wind was pretty bad too. My normal 20 mph dash slowed down to a mere 12 mph.

I rode on Monday, ducked the 20-30mph winds on Tuesday, and didn't get a ride today. Now they say rain is coming.....

Man, I was going so slow on Canada today. It's near the end of my 27 mile commute to. So 13-14 MPH was it for some of the "up hill" parts.
However, the wind wasn't too bad climbing Sand Hill.
I was thankful to join that pace line for a little while on Foothill today though the wind was killer!

Cold and windy here. It was brutal. The wife and I took the tandem out, today was her first ride this year. We suffered. Good ride!

I'm definitely riding tomorrow to work, then riding over to the Thursday Night Ride. Hopefully the wind will die down by then ... I hope I hope!

I'm out in Half Moon Bay. It was probably worse out here along Hwy1. Almost got blown off the road coming down Lobitos Creek Rd. OTOH, going South on Hwy1 was a blast!

Work has been killing me. No rides this week. I've got the Wente RR on Saturday. Hopefully, I can do well enough to at least get a T-shirt.
