You can see the Crank2 stickers in the other pics.

Hey I have the same wheels, brake stiffeners, and crankset (but with black Spiders, and no ICS).

Hello, I'm Marc. These are my bikes. If you see me scooting around say "hi!".

1985 Schwinn World Tourist convert

1996 Schwinn Moab.3

1987 Haro Master (I've had this since Dec. 1987)

Yeah, with bikes I'm drawn to red for some reason.

New from Marin (Bianchi owner)

Hi - new to the group, live in Marin.

Here are my two bikes - an 07 Bianchi C2C 928 (Ultegra, with a few mods):

And a 93 Bianchi Project-3 (new shifters, brake levers, cables, Shimano A530 pedals recently):

The Project-3 was an early 29er, advertised as "Cross-Terrain" and came with Maxxis 700x45c knobbies; I recently switched to 28c touring tires for a change of pace.

Looking forward to joining you all on a ride!

- Steve

My first road bike and project. c.1972 Mercier. Needs a bit of work in terms of aesthetics, but the little stuff I've done (rub out the rust, new handlebar tape, etc.,) is bringing out this bike's beauty.

My five-month old Specialized Sirrus, just after its first ride from San Francisco to Tiburon (and before it hurled on its first ferry ride).

We are starting to seriously hone in on a tandem and the periscope models are right at the top of the list. I recall you guys had some trouble with that bike when you were setting up but from the looks on your faces its all good now... right?

After sitting for ever boxed up in random places all over my house; I finally dusted off the old ZX3 PF group buy frame and had it built up. I'm still working on the fitting and possibly have some tweaking to do here and there ... but she rides better than i expected
Photos are off my beater phone… so picture quality sucks big time but oh well

O_o, I'm looking to purchase a frameset for next year's racing and Pedal Force is on my short list. Can you provide your likes/dislikes on the frame? Any problems with assembly? How is the company's customer service? Thanks!

I didn't know folders existed til I began looking on the Internet, found AtoB and it strongly recommended the Brompton. I'd been cycling for over 30 years and had a Dawes Super Galaxy for heavy/touring and a Ribble Cycles racer for long/light. My 1st Brompton was in 2003 was a L6, now called a M6L, I did use it but found I had to carry long distances and it was just too heavy. So then in 2006 I bought a S2L-X which was considerably lighter and that really got me nearly completely car-free, but I missed the bigger front pannier of the M-bars. So then in 2007 I bought a M6R-X, and swapped the back-ends, to end up with a M2L-X and a S6R-X. I never sold the older Brompton, kept as a spare and as loaner for group rides. I sold my big-wheel bikes to shrink my footprint prior to relocating to California.

I've kept my M6 in UK, to be used if I ever visit, and brought my two newer Bromptons. I used my S6R-X at the Folderfest 2 weekends ago, and my M2L-X at the Tour'de'Fat last weekend.

I am looking for a big-wheel folder, but only once I move into a house, currently in a rented room with my bike collection in a closet.

Nigel

Pedal Force's customer support is great. They are really easy to talk to and deal with... I’ve had to deal with them only a few times before my frame was shipped. Once to change some items on my order right before it was shipped out, then I request that they ship me a nude PF fork and the other they ran out of stock on the Fulcrum 5 wheel set.
Pedal Force made the changes to my order , they shipped me a nude fork and even though Fulcrum and PF both were out of stock in my wheels PF kept on top of the wheelset issue and had Fulcrum direct ship me some F5s when they had replenished their stock.

As for riding I’ve only been able do some on Sunday... where I just ended up shooting through the GG park , Up & down 47th Ave to Sutro heights and a few other smaller hills in the Outer Richmond District.
Today I road the bike to work … So far she seems to be able to handle SF’s wet and crap-tastic roads pretty well. The frame seems to be very stiff and absorbs the impact of small pot holes and other typical SF road imperfection really well.
I think Bostic may give you better feed back oh PF frames than I can since it looks like he has one or two PF frames in his bike stable… not really sure.
