smack my head moment

The hoods are another position you can put your hands in. Felt a little unnatural but I'll get used to it.

I used to ride in the drops all the time until I got a bike that fits me (my Orbea Orca). Now I can ride in the hoods.

I always ride on the hood, rarely in the drop. Just feels more natural to me.

Same experience as velodiva.. I had a bike that was too big, so I rode in the drops cuz they were closer. Now I have a bike that fits and the drops are a bit of a crunch to get into, the hoods are very comfy so I almost always ride in the hoods.

I'm a hood rider too and when the speed picks up, I go to the drops. Another position I use is palm down with the heels of the palm on the hoods and grab the bulb(where the faceplates are) of the STI.
