October BF Ride
So it looks like a bunch of people are doing rides on 10/6-10/7 and 10/20-10/21. Looks like these weekends are out for the NorCal BF ride for October. So the other weekends are 10/13-10/14 or 10/27-10/28. End of the month may be out, if some have family commitments for halloween, so how does 10/13 or 10/14 for the October ride sound?

I could do Sunday, the 14th. Saturdays are out until after Thanksgiving (I've been roped into being a soccer coach for one of my kids' teams - pretty sad since I played football and swam in high school).

Glad to see you are doing better Taxi777. Oct 27 up Mt Tam sounds like a great ride. People should be recovered from their previous century rides by then.

I was persuaded to coach one year... it was fun but I'm no soccer coach.
10/27 sounds OK for me. Will have to confirm on the family calendar.

Wow, what a reaction! Amazing to see such a large response. I'm game for a ride on 10/27 in Mt. Tam. I've never done that ride.
If anyone is interested, I was thinking of doing Calaveras on 10/13, over to Palomares.

Actually I am feeling so much better today. It's amazing to think that just 3 days (and 2 countries) ago I was limping around Paris choking down French aspirin (and I HATE taking drugs), barely able to walk up and down a step. Moving around seems to have helped, it felt best after walks and worst after being still in one position for a long time. Now I can walk up and down 5 flights of stairs in my hotel. Hopefully it will hold up to the long flight home. I don't think I'll push it by trying to find a Swiss rental bike though....
After I get home I am planning on scheduling a proper bike fitting before shopping for my road bike. Maybe I should also consider a folding bike for all of these trips!

Sassy and I are doing this one. Hope some of you can make it 110 miles of fun. I don't think there is much climbing - but it didn't really say.
