Anyone want to ride with me this Sunday AM??
I'm pretty out of shape due to being off the bike from the collarbone injury.
I just did my first "long" ride since the injury this past Monday. I rode home 32 miles from work (DT SJ to San Mateo). I felt pretty out of it compared to pre-injury.
So I was thinking of doing a ride on Sunday AM in the peninsula.
I was thinking it would involve the usual suspects:
Crystal Springs (at least for me), 35, Caņada Rd, Up Old La Honda, 35, down Kings Mtn back on Caņada, etc..
40 miles or so intermediate pace with a couple stops (Robert's for H20, and maybe one other).
*** Note I am open to suggestions, but must start/end within reasonable riding distance from San Mateo... I killed the transmission in the Spyder, I got a new 6-speed but am waiting on other parts, so no car right now. ***
Anyone want to join me? It would be nice to have some company for my first weekend ride back
Thanks.
Marco

Drive to Elk Grove. We'll ride to downtown Sacramento and then out the causeway to Davis and back. Probably 60 miles or so. No biggie. Avg pace. Tailwind on the causeway on the way back... Superspeed.
Of course, I haven't done this in 15 years so I can't remember if the wind is coming or going. But I can guarantee a sweet ride in one direction. I think it's the Davis/Sac run.
