Easy recreational rides in Pleasanton area?

Easy recreational rides in Pleasanton area?
I may be traveling to Pleasanton for a few days and we'd like to take the bikes. We're still pretty much recreational riders after re-entering cycling in spring of this year (we're both 50+). Wondering if there are any nice (not too strenuous/hilly) recreational rides up to 20-30 miles in low-traffic areas. We're not into speed (yet) or performance (yet).... just out having fun on our bikes.
EDIT: By "easy", I don't mean all flat. Can be hilly but not a lot. Just don't want strenuous and heavy traffic. Scenic would be nice!

I like Vineyard Rd out to Livermore. Also, look up Iron Horse Trail. Have fun!

Yes, Vineyard is a nice road for riding. Depending on where you are in Pleasanton, go on Mapquest and figure out a loop with Vineyard, Isabell, and Concanon. Stanley Blvd between Pleasanton and Livermore has a nice bike trail along the side for much of that stretch, then a bike lane the rest of the way.

Depending on where you are staying in P-town, head south on either Foothill Road or Sunol Blvd. Turn East (left) at SR-84. (On Sunol Blvd., it's a left at a four-way stop sign - On Foothill, you'll have to find your way through the village of Sunol, which is tiny). Go under the freeway, and continue straight onto Calaveras Road (SR-84 will get on the freeway). Go as far as you feel like. Turn around and retrace your steps back to Pleasanton. Most of the route is flat or gently rolling, but here is a climb on Calaveras (about 2 miles of roughly 6%, with one short pitch a little steeper) that starts just after you pass Welch Creek Road. If it's too much, just turn around. Turning around there should also put you in the mileage range you are talking about. If you keep going, the views of the Calaveras Reservoir are very nice and the road rolls and loops its way in and out of the gulleys and hollows of the surrounding hills - very nice.
