Artistic Photos Anyone?

On the ride up Diablo I talked to Curtis for awhile about art/photography and after got thinking about there must be a lot of interesting personal photos from Bike Forum people Raw/or altered that would be interesting for posting here just for fun. Maybe explain some of the technique also.

This one is from the Tiburon loop. At the end of a driveway there is a convex mirror and I snapped a photo of our reflection and changed just the outline as an effect in Photoshop, looked kind of alien to me.

I have some raw photos that Iíve taken over the last 2 or so years. Unfortunately none of them are about cycling. And since I can not really decided on what photoís to post, I have tons of them, Iíll just randomly post a few ....
These were all taken on a 35mm Nikon, scanned with a crappy scanner and quickly resized: p. via MS Office picture Manager.

OK, here's a few:

this one was actually taken of me by bigbossman a couple of month's ago, on Morgan Territory just south of the park:

this is a pretty pond and alpine meadow just above 9,000 feet on the way to Tioga Pass:

a different view of half-dome on the same ride up to Tioga Pass:

Won't that make it impossible to see through them?

BTW, love the mirror photo you posted.

Wow
Taxi: hehehe i am one of those slow snail riders . BTW you should have received some kind of hazardous pay for riding under that flock of sea gulls , LOL.
After seeing all these really beautiful shots I need to get off my bum and start working on getting better with my own stuff.
Love the morning fog shot ...
MiqueMaus: what camera are you shooting with?

I think I will post a few more shots. I sized them down a lot compaired to my first batch.
These should be a lot better than the ones i post while I was at work.

Balboa Theater in SF new 38thave didn't notice the movie title on the billboard until after the photo was developed.

Peter, the mirror shot is cool. MiqueMaus, love #3 reflection and #4 silhouette. O_o, love the tones and the moods captured in your people pics.

Don't have many biking pics but took this one along the Bay Trail in the Richmond Marina. Kept hanging around while my son and I were snacking. Really liked his expressions.

Not nearly so artistic, but I have a mirror shot too (plus this one is from a cycling trip):

I'm sure I saved it somewhere..

No I didn't take it, it was taken of me. That photo was taken by a good friend of mine that I was riding with that day. 80 miles into the Heartbreak Hundred, I was in the throes of a full-blown exercise induced asthma attack. As he went off to get help, he turned around and snapped the pic.

I originally posted it in the road forum thread about that century, and some jackass nabbed it and made the poster.
