What bike have you been eyeballin'?

........or plan to get soon (hopefully)?

I need to start saving again. But this time I'd like an old lugged steel something or other.

I would love a Vanilla frame. The "V" dropouts and lugs are gorgeous. Too bad the waiting list is 4 years (as of February 2007) since Sacha White is the sole builder.

Been looking at a lot of SC nomad frames lately
Been looking at the cervelo r3-sl as well. But I can't even remotely begin to consider that at this point.

Moots and this really cool vintage steel Colnago a fellow club rider owns. I'm hoping he sells since he's got 8 bikes. He's the guy that smoked me climbing Cummings Skyway in Crockett. His bike weighs about 23 lb and only has a 12-21 cassette but it is a beauty.

I've been thinking about a nice cyclocross bike for trail riding. But for some reason information or choices are very scarce about CX bikes. And if I can get away with it I've also been eyeing this beautiful steel Guru bike. 18 pounds for a steel bike, yummy.

Stopped by the freewheel bike shop the other day. Wanted to compare what's available new with the used bike I bought. Ended up preferring my used bike to what was in my price range new. But a bianchi via nirone tiagra really caught my eye. Looked so sleek and fast, plus so light. But at $850 I'd have to sell my nice mtb.

With a baby on the way I'm resigned to the fact that a brand new high $$ CF bike is out of the question. So I'm looking into a frame... maybe a CAAD or BMC Road Race SL-01 or Streetfire SSX. Or maybe a used Soloist Team... anyone have a cheap 50cm frameset for sale and will take monthly payments?

I'm fresh out of bikelust at the moment. I just finished building one up, so it might be a while - especially if I like it as much as I think I'm gonna.

Another CAAD8, but with SRAM Force and Mavic open pro ceramic rims, instead of my current Shimano 105/ultegra mix. Not planning on getting it, but I wish I could.
I am weird carbon bikes just don't really do it for me. They are nice, but I rather have one of the best aluminum frames.

+ a million

I just finished building my CAAD 8 with Campy. I've only ridden a few miles with it, but damn it feels good!
