When life gives you lemmons...

I hadn't made any plans for cycling this past weekend, because of the kids. Saturday sporting events and all day skiing on Sunday. By Sat eve. it's a given the 15 y/o has too much homework and won't be skiing. Well at least there's the older one...

Sunday am comes around and as I'm getting the coffee ready, Mrs. BenRidin comes out to say the older one is not going either...she has the flu. "Crap"...Well there's the good friends down the street that were going, I'll hitch a ride with them.

No such luck, they're exhausted from the day before. No problem, my good friend Doc is going up for the half day at 9:00...I'll call him...No dice. He's too hung over from some crab feed the night before. His kid is really disapointed.

By now it's too late to cruise over to Marin to join Pete on Tam. Dayum!! Oh well, a nice 50 miler is what I got in and life is good again.

Enjoy your day...
