Hanging out with a new girl
My sons have talked me into adopting a dog - check her out here. She's a sweety - tons of energy, loves to run - we'll be spending lots of time in the parks in the area, running off that energy! She's also completely deaf - can't hear a thing. Fortunately, she's well trained - she responds to hand signals and to a vibrating collar.
I haven't had a dog in almost 20 years - this should be fun!

Thanks - she's as rambunctious and full of bad habits as you'd expect, coming from a shelter. However, she is settling right down and has already stopped climbing on furniture (she is like a cat - I found her on top of the dining room table, just checking things out). She also has a ton of energy - I think some of my riding time will have to be dedicated to long walks in Las Trampas (where she can be off leash) so she can run it off.
