Thanks everyone!! I plan on spending a selfish day and taking it easy and slow today. A little bit of riding, a trip to the dog park and washing/detailing my car (fun fun fun for someone with OCD!)

ugggh... tell me about it!

It takes me around 8 hours of labor just to detail the paint.

Good thing I only do it 2x per year

OK... Maybe I am OCD

Happy B-day

Confession time: The longest I spent detailing a car was (ok, I'm serious here) 14 hours. Stop laughing, you guys. From sun up till late at night. I only stopped for lunch and dinner.

Yes........ I know, I know. I have issues when it comes to my cars and my bikes.

Doesn't surprise me much, really. Cars have a lot more surface area as well as nooks and crannies. If it's a show car you're talking about, I'd actually think it would take a lot longer than that.

Now, if it was fourteen hours on a bicycle, that'd be different.

True! Now that would be extreme OCD! hehe!

My wife used to get mad at me for taking so long detailing my car. I used to wipe down and polish the engine bay on my old car. Talk about nooks and crannies! But it was worth it to me. It got worse when I discovered clay bar!!! I loved the smooth feel of the paint after using the clay bar!

But now that I don't have a garage it makes it real difficult to deal with the detailing anymore.

BTW, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Siu!!!

That was a Trans Am that I spent all the time on. And yes, I detail the engine as well.

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes! Maybe one day I can meet some of you. I plan on meeting East Hill when she comes up.
