My local bike store: Gone
On Sunday Tricia and I road out to the Los Vaqueros Reservoir. On our way home we thought we'd stop by 2 Real bikes in Brentwood and check out the water bottles.
We went there, and it was GONE. I don't think it had been all that long since we were in. We bought something, even if it was small, every visit. I guess that wasn't enough
It's a shame to see a local business bite the dust. And selfishly, I didn't even get to hit a going out of business sale.

I feel guilty now. I've visited them at least 3 times and I did not purchase a thing from them.
Or maybe this is a trend most Specialized stores are going through.

Friday passed and I got a little buried w/ work. When I stopped by there on the Wednesday to inquire, the response was "Oh, I've never heard of a FSA 34t compact and besides I forgot to get a deposit from you..."
WTF?!! Why didn't you call me and get the deposit on the phone. I gave you my phone number, etc Thank you for wasting my time. And who has never heard of a 34t compact??!!
Sheese...no wonder people buy things from the interweb.
