Eastern Sierra

First weekend in June. Anyone up for this? It's a gorgeous double century. Only 200 miles and 10,000 feet climbing

We can even do a joint NorCal/SoCal BF ride.

You left out the part about the miles of expansion joints after the climb to Sage Hen.

Ah, if I remember about 10-15 miles of running over railroad ties. It's a great ride some very beautiful country!

My husband was driving SAG last year while I rode. He said a woman had her very expensive light get jolted off her bike and dashed into many little pieces on that section.

My GPS wouldn't stay on. Every time I went over an expansion joint, it would shake the bike so hard it moved the batteries away from the connectors.

Other than that section, it is a fantastic ride. We're planning a trip down there this summer - for some mountain biking.
