Climb climb climb, eh? I see. You are planning on making up for the April 12th ride, huh? :D

x136 04-06-08 08:26 PM

Got a bikely for it? I do need to get some training in, though not for Tierra Bella. :)

spingineer 04-06-08 08:31 PM

Great. This will be a good litmus test for me. Bear in mind, if I'm not feeling up to it, I may turn back.

Wrist feels pretty good today. I did some local riding on my bent, and wrist seems to be holding up.

So, Pete, how did you p***-off Google? I get a nice warning about graphic, offensive content and I have to click on some lawyer-speak release before they'll let me read your blog. Didn't seem so bad to me!

Glad to hear that. I'll have bailout points if some of us don't want the whole nine yards.

BART-able?
How far is this ride?
I actually would have to ride in the city?

spingineer 04-09-08 06:03 PM

Pete,
Are you okay to do this ride after your mishap?

pelikan 04-10-08 11:51 AM

Hey Curtis, Bart will drop you at the Embarcadero. Just ride a couple of feet to Ferry building.

What about the ride Sat. are you and Tricia doing that?

I'm Irish.... anymore questions:)

uspspro 04-10-08 12:34 PM

Can we move it an hour later for Caltrain folks (Earliest train arrives in SF @ 9:36) ;)

Otherwise I can ride to Bart (Milbrae or San Bruno).

If there are more people in the South Bay or Peninsula that want to use the train, it might be worth it.

If it's just me, I don't mind riding to Bart to get there on time.

That explains a lot of things ... :p

SesameCrunch 04-10-08 07:18 PM

Pete:

Your alleged "training ride" for the Tierra Bella is going to be longer and harder than the TB ride itself.

Ummm, is that also due to the Irish in you :)?

spingineer 04-10-08 07:55 PM

I'm not sure if my wrist will be ready for a 120 miler ... I think Pete made a typo ... he didn't mean a "training ride" for Tierra Bella ... he meant a "training ride" for Davis Double!
