Second, you don't need the spring on your QR skewer to ride, silly! The only function of the spring is to keep the QR spread so you can place the wheel in the drop-outs. If you don't have it, you can still ride -- just a tidbit for future reference.

I thought I had lost the QR spring for my folder when I unpacked it in Boulder.
Turns out it was inside the spring from the other side.
