Double Century in December????

That's right ... unfortunately, it won't count as credit for the California Triple Crown, but for your personal record, you can consider it a double century.

My friend Ken, of bikeaholics is doing his annual Winter Soltace Double Century. So this would be a nice flat long distance ride, to prepare for the doubles next year.

Unfortunately, I will be on-call the day they do this, so I won't be able to make it. You will have to RSVP by December 10th. There are RSVP instructions on the bikeaholics web site, at http://www.bikeaholics.org/wsdc-route-2008.html

I was planning on doing this soon.

A good meeting spot could be Canada/92 (I'd start from my house, anyone is welcome to start there too).

Lunch would be in Pescadero (mile 50). Late Starbucks stop @ Foothill & Homestead (mile 128).

Any takers to join us on our 160 mile route.

I want to do it sometime soon. Maybe around the Holidays. I'm off from 12/25 - 1/5

I'll be in Reno from xmas to that Sunday but am planning on taking the next couple days off. This is not an easy route by any means, but that's to be expected !

I'll have the week off after new years. Haven't decided what to do with the rest of the time though ...
