subject to change, maybe closer to 40 miles...make it worth it.
I'll actually do a bikely if this happens for sure. we could do a Tiburon loop...maybe some ideas from everyone.

Jeez. I'm riding 16 mile commute on the fixed. It is an experience. Even with the brakes stopping feels like an adventure. I really notice every minor hill, up or down.
So there is no flippin' way I'm going to ride it in the City. The City that I fear riding my geared bike in!

I'd be in for a Tiburon Loop. Depends on the date of course. When is Labor Day?
*nevermind Labor Day is too far off. Valentine's maybe?

Count me in. I used to ride my fixed almost every day and it has been mostly idle since I moved here. I commuted a couple of times on it but have to admit, my new Marin commuter bike (<$400) is much more comfortable: wide tires, gears, a little shock absorber in the seat post.
But my gearing is kind of high: 45x16. I don't really know the roads you listed but I should probably change that, right? I got 17, 18 and 19T cogs.

My mistake - I just checked and my chain ring is 48 so it is 48x16. I got it originally with 48x15 but that seemed ridiculous at the time. I was in NY city with no brakes (yes I was young and ignorant, now I am just ignorant) so I changed that to 19 for better starting and stopping, then to 18, then to 17, then finally to 16. And now I have a front brake.
