My wife throws down a 500 mile month!

Wow, I can't believe my good fortune. Mrs. Oldstrong has caught the bug, big time.
I have a new ride buddy.
She is training with TNT for Solvang and this month she just took off.
    512 miles for January!!

I feel so inadequate with my wimpy 343 miles

    Congratulations honey!
(she hates this picture by the way because the wind gives her jacket that flattering Michelin man look.)

    That's great, Dan.

Sadly, you've both put my January mileage to shame - gawd this month has sucked and I can't blame the weather

Beats the hell out of some of the other slugs you've been riding with . . .

By the way, I can tell just from the one photo: she's waaaaaay too good for you. But I bet you already knew that.

    That's awesome.

I'm training for Solvang too and I only got in like 340-something. 500 is impressive!

That's a bunch of miles, especially in January with the short days. Congrats, and ROCK ON!
