The forecast says no rain until after 8PM, so we are on for tonight.
4 x 6 miles (9 laps) with 2 lap recovery. Going hard (not quite sprinting) over the 2nd half of laps 3, 6, and 9 of each.
I'll be there around 6, hope to see you there!

How'd that night ride go guys? I have a bad cold so wasn't able to make it. I even got my new light waiting to try out too.

Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling great, a combination of being tired from my races on Sunday and this cold/cough I've been fighting, so I left after the first interval, but it looked like everyone else was staying despite the sprinkles starting to fall.
I hope to feel better and be there tomorrow night (if it's not raining).
My spin class instructor Jackie is interested in joining us, but is kind of hesitant since it's been all guys. I told her to check out this forum, so maybe she'll join one of our rides soon.

Wow! 12? that's great. Pretty soon a group will have to wait and take turns or have a 100 foot line, maybe it'll even make the evening news. Sorry about the cold, yep, it's a bummer.
Your spin class instructor joining is interesting, hey isn't there a lot of Roaring Mouse and other gals? maybe a women only group can get going, even a group for old farts like me.. Soon there will be spectators in the stands and a hot dog stand...lol

I might have stayed longer if I hadn't forgotten lights. All I had were the blinky lights on my helmet and you can't see too well with only those.

It was pretty fun. After we started that second set, the rain started coming down a little harder and then naya(sp?) and I lost count of the laps. I think we added 1 or 2 more. So used to pizzaman leading and managing laps.
I think it might be a similar situation today. It looks like it's scheduled for rain at 8pm today. Same deal as tues?

I'm racing both days this weekend, and still hanging on to this cold, so I'm taking tonight off.

Pizza Man, I hope to do a little age group racing later this year. You're finding a lot more races than I am. Where are you looking?

And if you have a cyclocross bike, you could race 52 weekends a year!

Great ride last night. Small group of 5. We did 3x9 laps without any rain. Some new guys last night as well. I think this thing is catching on!

I won't make it out there either tonight.
Looks like i'll be doing back-to-back spin classes at the YMCA this evening.
