I'm feeling about 97%. I should make. I haven't been on my bike for 4 days On a brighter note, I may be two pounds lighter

I'll be out there, but a little earlier than usual. One of PMs' teammates will be out there around 4:30 with what promises to be an even more structured (and maybe more puke inducing) workout than what we've been doing on Thurs. nights
We should still be out there around 6:00 but I'll be in no shape for 10 sprints.

I'm racing on both Saturday and Sunday so it will be interesting to see if wine tasting is as good for race preparation as dong a sprint workout.

Thursday March 19
No Polo Fields for me tonight.
I will be at the GG Bridge at 5:30 for a ride over to Stinson Beach & back via Mill Valley & Pan Toll. Should be less than 3 hrs RT, but lights will be necessary if you plan to join me.

Great ride, after Stinson we headed north on 1 to BoFax then up and over the 7 sisters as the sun was setting. Didn't see any other cyclists, but about did see about 20 deer (luckily didn't see any on the descent). Total ride was about 3.5 hours, not bad for a weeknight.

Hi All,
I'm a roadie (and cross racer, and MTB'er, etc) new to SF. Did the POO ride Tuesday. Great stuff! Is there a group ride happening tonight (Thursday) in GG Park? If so, when/where? Is it s standing weekly ride?
Thanks!

Always hear great things about the POO ride and hope to make it out there sometime this year. The Tuesday Night Park Ride is also good (with a hill), and just so close to my house.
As far as Thursday nights, traditionally there has been a group that meets at the polo fields entrance by Spreckels Lake. There's a longer, talking pace warm-up around the Park (up to the lawn bowling green and then back down to the Tuesday night course). The tempo is always much easier than Tuesday so you can get a decent effort in without killing yourself before the weekend races.
I'm not sure if it's started up yet this year, but I'm hoping it will soon. Attendence seemed to dwindle last year.
There will be people in the polo fields doing tempo tonight at least. Myself included. It gets annoying with all the high schoolers crossing the track though.

BTW, anyone hit the Tuesday night Track Fights this past Tuesday?
I need to get out. I haven't ridden in three days (mostly due to work) and am feeling sluggish.
