Benica Bridge MUP completion date: Anybody know?
I was going over the Benicia Bridge and saw them working on it. If anyone has info on the new bike lane please post. Thanks

i saw last saturday 1 cyslist crossing the bridge from benicia to martinez, i will check that out wednesday.

The official opening ceremony has been scheduled for Saturday, August 29th at 10am on the Benicia side. Cyclists will be able to ride to the ceremony from Martinez starting at 9 am.
Some cyclists have already ridden across the bridge, but the last I heard the construction was not yet complete. Construction equipment was located on the path, some of the expansion joint areas were not covered and could be a hazard, and the railing on the edge of the bridge was not fully installed.
