Has anyone here done the Giro d Vino?

I'm thinking about doing the metric. What'd you think of the event?

Good event. Highly recommend it. Get in a pace line and blast your way through it.

It's a nice ride. Benefits the LAF. The rest stops are good. Beware of the riders taste testing all the wine.

Thanks for posting. Looks like a great late season ride! I have family in Galt & Lodi. The area is definitely flat!! May do!

Cheers,
Geary

I usually do it because it is one of the last organized rides of the year, and a good excuse to get some easy miles in. Essentially flat, good support, lots of goofing off. Can get boring though, with enough repetition.
