Thanks, all! What a nice surprise to see log on and see this thread!
Extra points to BBM for nailin' it.
I rode to my Assoc. of Realtor's BOD meeting and impressed them not only that I rode there, but scarfed down a big piece of 5-layer Thunder Cake (think chocolate overload with chocolate shavings, yum) and not bursting out of my Lycra.
Then I rode the hilly parts of Foxy's, aka the Lake Loop, which is much less fun without my friends. It was no less scenic, however. Here are a few semi-crappy BlackBerry shots:
That's a tiny brook with moss-covered rocks that's on 128, shortly after the turn off 121. I couldn't shoot it Saturday but remembered it today.
I rode through a lot of this, and it was lovely:
So I rode my age +9 for >metric century in stellar conditions, full of appreciation for the abundant life I have.

To BS: Chris bought me an expensive cigar to accompany the pricey wine he pulled out of our stash...that's dinner.
