Who`s off on weekdays?

Hey, NorCALers! I live on the outskirts of Reno and I`m looking for weekday riders, preferably Tues or Weds and within 100 miles or so of Reno. Up until a few weeks ago, most of my riding and ALL my road rides were solo, but I took a vacation day to meet up with a guy from rbr and rode a Gold Lake loop as part of a group of five- had a BLAST!! I want to do more small group riding, at least from time to time, but haven`t managed to find any other riders in my immediate area with similar schedules. Any of you Truckee/Tahoe folks out there with weekdays off? Susanville or Nevada City retirees? Unemployed in Auburn? I`m pretty sure I fall into the slowpoke category, but I`m game for pretty much any rides up to about 80 mi/5K climb as long as there`s no hurry.

Just my kind of post, although we might be far from each other.

I can ride weekdays, out of Roseville/granite bay area but don't mind driving to meet up somewhere. I usually like to ride up towards Auburn anywhere from 30-100 mi - pace can vary, and I don't mind either doubling back when I am ahead on a given climb, or if others have to double back to me . I don't usually enjoy long stops. Not a racer yet, but a wannabee. Might try a few cat 5s this coming year.

Iowa Hill loop out of auburn is my typical spring training ride. I've been a slouch last few months....time to get going again.

Deathride rider 3 years running, ~9 hours ride time, 9:45 total to give you a sense of peak shape last year.

So, rodar, if you make it down towards Auburn, PM me. Anyone else more local, PM...I am in need of some motivation right now.

I'm a little farther, and can ride during the week. But I only have about a 3 hour window while my daughter is in school.

Cool! 9:45 for DR total time? That beats the faster of my two solo Cs. 9:55 for a 108 mile loop on 395 and around the Sierra Valley earlier this week- Beckwourth Pass is probably a "tiny" bit easier than the Markleeville trio . But PM going your way since you don`t seem concerned about mismatches. I`ll see if I can find some info in Iowa Hill so I`ll know what you`re talking about.

Joel, thanks for chiming in. I don`t mind the drive to Sac, or short rides, but the combo of short ride and long drive is kind of rough due to finances these days. My wife and I have taken a few tours de river path on the tandem down there- lots of fun! Next time we head down I`ll see if your`re available and interrested. An out and back from Old Sac to Folsom is usually an all day affair for us.

I live in Roseville, and am currently unemployed. I don't mind riding with you guys also, except for the Thursday planned group rides that go on here. However I am not available this Monday/Tuesday due to interviews. Finding a job in today's job market, despite the economy making a comeback, is difficult PM me
