Furnace Creek 508 - Interested in a 2 person relay?
Hello,
I'm brand new to Bike Forums.
I am a 3 time participant in the Furnace Creek 508 - my totem is Team Capybara. I'm looking for a partner for the 2010 edition. I participate out of a desire to participate - I've never been in a position to compete for a podium spot. I also do this because it's fun to hang out with like-minded cyclists doing something really challenging. I put a big emphasis on fun. I'm hoping to find a cyclist who has some double centuries under his or her belt and is looking for a new challenge, or an experienced 508er who still loves the event.
I can say that the 508 is an adventure of a lifetime, and I have had the privilege to do it 3 times. I love the event and I am inspired to compete yet again.
