Any groups riding around the polo fields in GG Park?

Last March I seem to recall seeing a posting here about a group of riders meeting at the polo fields for some good fast-paced training. I haven't seen anything posted about polo field rides this year so I'm wondering if anyone knows what day/time people are meeting there to ride. If these rides are currently going on, what's the turnout been like as of lately? Thanks. - Jeremiah

Tuesday & Thursday are the "regular" nights for Polo Field workouts, but with so much rain, it hasn't been too regular this winter..

Once daylight savings begins in 2 weeks, the regular GG Park crit like simulation "Tuesday Night World Championships" will begin at 6 PM every Tuesday meeting on Transverse just south of JFK. We usually roll by 6:05, and do loops of 3 miles (all right turns). The first lap is a warm-up, and the next 6 or 7 are race like.

We will also have regular group rides at the Polo Field on Thursday nights.

I usually tweet the ride details.

Well that was fun, at least what I was able to stay for. Hopefully the roads in GG park are open next week so we can do laps that discriminate less against fat people like me.

Are thursday laps at the polo field back on as well?

I was late getting started up there and when I came to backed up traffic on 280, I just turned around and head to Canada/92. I need to plan better for traffic heading up to GGP.

About 20 showed up last night, at least half of them mice.
There was some filming going on last night & they closed middle drive, so we couldn't do our regular loop.
We went to the Presidio & were doing a real hilly loop that we only did 1.5 times before we got pulled over by the US Park Police for running stop signs.
He told us "This is not a closed course tonight" and let us off with a warning.

After that we went back to the Polo Fields for some sprints.

Hopefully the regular road will be open next Tuesday night.

I can't make it to the Polo Fields this Thursday, but I would guess that there will be a group riding there.
