Riding Hwy 12
I'm thinking about taking Amtrak to Suisun City and then riding from there to Napa. Here's the route. Is the riding along 12 safe enough for cycling? It would be Friday morning, I'd say after 9 am.
Thanks!

Try Wooden Valley to 121. Definitely stay off 12.
Edit: Looking at your route, it seems you're going to American Canyon. I'm not sure what's the best way to get there now...

You can take McGary Rd from Red Top along I-80. Then take American Canyon Rd to 29 and go from there. One word of caution - McGary is technically closed so you will have to go around a couple gates and ignore some signs. I've done it and so do many other cyclists that need a direct route into Vallejo.
