Cooling Off in Pigeon Point

Double season is kicking up in high gear, so what better way than to get some miles in, going out to the coast. The plan is to climb up on over OLH, out to Pescadero, south to Pigeon Point, back on Gazos Creek, and make sure we stop for lunch back at San Gregorio ... or whatever that town is. Point is, make sure we have some solid food in, before the final kick up Haskins.

When: Saturday, June 12. 8 am
Where: Bicycle Outfitters, in Los Altos
Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/93595

Approximately 87 miles, 8400 feet climbing.

If it's Sunday, I can meet you on Skyline or somewhere en route. Can't do Saturday. Have lunch in Pescadero. I think that's what you meant to say anyway.

Are you thinking of going back up Hwy84 or Tunitas?

Let me know when you decide to do it, I can try to be around if you want to stop by for a water/bathroom break.

I'll most likely do it Saturday. I need to get the miles in.

I can't climb hills like everyone else can ... I'd probably pass by your place on the return trip home from Pescadero. We'll see.

Actually, returning via Haskins Hill then up Alpine. Yeah, I know .. I'm a masochist.

I'm tempted to join you guys but i don't want to miss the USA-England Wordcup game this Saturday.
I'll probably just do end up doing something closer/shorter this Saturday.
Have fun, should be nice and cool by the coast.

Great seeing you too! You're looking great (as if that was to question). The rest of the ride went well. I think I spent too much energy getting up Haskins Hill ... I didn't have much power going up Alpine, but at least I did make it through. I think my climbing fitness is back. I'm not suffering through back pains that I was before.
