You meet some nice people on HWY 9

Riding down the west side of HWY 9 a guy shouts "Die you f***ing... (fill in some expletives I couldn't hear). Gotta love the attitude

Wait, what? Was the guy in a car yelling at you, or another cyclist yelling at you? or another cyclist yelling at a car?

Most people seem to ignore me on on Hwy 9, anyone that does notice me seems to be fist pumps of encouragement. They may be sarcastic fist pumps but I don't care.

Perhaps one too many acid trips?... It's OK, at least he didn't run you off the road.

I have had plenty of similar experiences around the Bay Area. I should start carrying a small camera in my pocket so I can take a picture of their face and license plate. Its too hard to fumble with my iphone to accomplish anything like that.
