I latched on to the spectrum ride for a few miles... its about CAT5 training speed... I've never actually tried to join it for the whole thing because that was the stinkiest paceline I've ever been in.

I think Roasters is closer to 70miles and Spectrum closer to 35miles. Roasters has a long promenade, to get past bridge, Sausalito, etc, but it has more places for separation. I guess it depends on the type of rider you are. Roasters has always ended up with a solo ride back from Nicassio from me. Spectrum, only once...my first time.

Spectrum is 50+ miles by the time you get all the way to 92 and back. It has fast days and slow days, depending on who shows up to drive the pace. The route is rolling grades, there are relatively few inclines long enough to threaten splits, but there are a lot of inexperienced or just sketchy riders, so they occasionally happen.
