Kings Mtn Road
I usually park at Canada Rd by 92 and ride 7 miles before starting my climb on Kings. Can you folks recommend a closer safe parking area...say within 1-3 miles? I heard there's a school nearby with a parking lot but not sure if I can park there. Don't want to return and find that my car was towed. I appreciate any comments. Thanks!

You can park in the public lot at the Woodside City Hall (corner of Woodside Road and Whiskey Hill Road). The police station is there, so you car is not likely to get stolen. There's also a Caltrans park & ride lot at Woodside Road near I-280 (not sure how full that gets on weekdays).

Johnny99, not concern about car getting stolen more of getting towed. Great info. Thanks!
Mellum76, I wasn't sure if it was legal, although, I did park there once before and during my ride most of the time I was thinking to myself if I was gonna get towed or not. Thanks!
