Come see some cool bikes
If you want to see some cool bikes and some cool cars (and you know you do), come to the Postino Ristorante parking lot in Lafayette (3565 Mt. Diablo Blvd) between 10 am and 3-ish pm. Admission is free. There will be food, stuff to drink, music, a VIP tent with scotch tastings and God only knows what else. Walking/easy riding distance from Lafayette BART. Or make it a rest stop on your Fathers Day ride.
Among the other neat-o bike stuff will be:
Bigbossman's fully panto'd 1980ish Eddy Merckx;
MarcoPolo's Seven - painted Ti never looked so good
An early 80s Bruce Gordon, from the days when he still made lugged frames
Scooper's 1972 chrome Paramount, fully period-correct
A very neat fully restored Columbia paperboy special
There's more, but if you want to see it, you have to come down.
And there will be 60+ cars and motorcycles, from fun to exotic. C'mon, Siu Blue Wind, this has your name all over it
