Spokesman Bicycles, Santa Cruz, Feedback?

I'm considering a custom frameset and this shop is the only nearby dealer with all the high tech fit equipment. Have any of you been to the shop? What are your impressions? Etc.

Thanks in advance.

I can't speak highly enough of this shop and the owner, Wade Hall.
I have had 2 extensive fittings with Wade, a few years apart, as my body has changed over the years.
He does great work. Just ask Fabian Cancellara or Mark Renshaw, or any of the other pros that have signed the wall in his studio.

After my first ever double I had some bad numbness in a real bad place for a man to have numbness.
It lasted a couple days.

I went to see Wade for the first time to rework my fit the winter before I went for my Triple Crown.
The bike was so comfortable and I felt so fresh after a double on it that I went on to do 5 doubles that year.
Now I have done 8 doubles on my Wade Hall fit all of them super comfortable on the bike. Even the DMD

This winter I saw Wade for a 2nd time since I was having a little knee pain. He found that what was right for me 3 years ago was no longer right for me now. A few changes later and I have a Wade Hall 2.0 fit that I love. No more knee pain.

Take a day off work. Go on a mid week day. Make an appointment.
Wade will ask you lots of questions about your riding style, riding goals, do you have pain? etc.
Then he measures your flexibility and range of motion as he puts you through some exercises.
The motion capture video sessions with you on your bike on his trainer come after he has a good understanding of you and your body. Then the video analysis ties it all together so he can see where your comfort and efficiency can be improved.

I like how Wade turned me loose to try my version 2.0 fit on this 27 mile loop
to test it out. The loop was tough but it gave me a chance to assess the new fit. https://app.strava.com/activities/2821736

Go in the morning so you have time for a test loop.
A Wade Hall fit is quite an experience, you will feel like you are getting the pro treatment.
Totally worth it.

Thanks! I'm going to call them tomorrow and ask a few questions. My wife and I are looking at Guru for new bikes this year, and he's a dealer for them. The fit machine will ensure perfect geometry. I'm really intrigued!

Good shop. They found the bike I wanted & I got a great fit from Wade. Zero problems with the bike or the fit since.Be glad you allready have your bike picked out, cause they have row after row of bad ass road bikes.

I gave Wade a call and we had a nice chat. If things go along as I hope, in another month we'll be making the trip down and placing an order....
