Commute sucked -- took a detour (and saw part of the DMD route!)

580 east was creeping along yesterday, so I jumped off and and went for a ride down Collier Canyon Rd, over to N Livermore Ave, and back.

Saw some "DMD" markers on the road. I've seen those on Calaveras Rd as well and it hit me yesterday that they were for the Devil Mountain Double.

Wind was howling out there, but it was sure nicer than sitting in traffic. Riding and then getting some food and gas killed 2 hours. This is why I always try to have a bike in the back of my car.

Might go up Morgan Territory again next time. Had my 12/23 cassette on yesterday, so that climb wasn't in the cards.
