Folsom South canal bike path

Is there any access to the bike/walking path next to the Folsom South canal? Traillink and other sites mention the access at Gold River next to Hazel, near the fish hatchery, but that access has been closed for quite a while. Any other spot?
Thanks
M Riley

You can access the canal right near the fish hatchery via Tributary Crossing (cross street to Gold Country). You can also access the canal at Sunrise via crosswalk, at White Rock, then at many of the other streets crossing over the canal or neighborhoods adjacent. I'd suggest starting at the hatchery as there is plenty of parking.

OK, thanks. I was looking where Hazel crosses the canal. There are two gates there, but locked. I'll try tributary crossing.

I was going to suggest White Rock just west of Sunrise.

There will be gates at Tributary, but there are access ways that are plenty big enough to ride a bike through.
