Tahoe conditions ?

Hi guys,
planning to go to South Tahoe for a Labor day weekend, do some riding/hiking/beach, reading conflicting reports regarding smoke conditions, trying to figure out if I should cancel the trip altogether or not.
Any one have any idea how bad it is?
Thanks!

Look at the airnow.gov website. I don't think any of the zip codes around Tahoe (Kings Beach, Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe) will get you a zoomed in view, but for Roseville (95678) it also shows the Lake Tahoe Basin.

Damn! Although I'm still stuck in LA since this morning as my connecting flight to San Francisco was cancelled, I am planning after a couple of days riding around San Francisco first then ride the Death Valley climbs on Sunday! Heading south to Bishop then on to CO.

Given the OP was asking about the weekend just gone, this really doesn't help them but may others. I drove through on Monday - as I mentioned above was planning to ride the Death ride climbs that day. Prbably could have ridden, but it wasn't pleasant.

Air further south is fine. A little rain in Bishop today and a little sleet at Mosquito flat...
