HIPCHIP

For those in the Woodland, Ca. area (near Davis and Sacramento), there is a ride that leaves from Foys bike shop Mon/Wed/Fri mornings at 9 AM. No Drop rides of about 32-40+ miles, usually with a stop at the mid point for coffee, pastry, etc. Nice pace of about 13-17 MPH and basically flat (no hills). Beautiful farm land rides with very little traffic. Great group and we always keep everybody in sight, so if you are a beginner or a little worried, we never leave you stranded. This is not my ride, I'm just one of the riders who thought I'd mention this to those in the area (my first real group ride(s), so I was a little apprehensive). Foys opens at 9AM so if you need anything, you can grab it before we leave. Main St just east of CR 98, across the street from Raleys.

Thanks for the heads up! I like stopping at Foys everytime I ride through Woodland on weekends. I have yet to come out for a group ride since it is on weekdays.
