Looking for fast evening group rides in the South Bay
I work in Sunnyvale on Mon, Tue, and Thu and am looking for a fast-paced group ride on one of those nights.
I've been riding with the Cycletrons at Lawrence Livermore Lab on Fridays at lunch. This is their "easy" day yet the average speed is often still over 20 mph. Scheduling conflicts make it tough to hit this ride regularly though.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks,
Sonny

You need to change your schedule to work in Sunnyvale on Wednesdays and then you can do the Valley Ride!
Valley Ride
367 State Street - Los Altos
When: Wednesday @ 6:00pm
Spring & Summer
Route: generally 30 miles
The only other regular weekday evening ride that I know of is the Alto Velo Egan ride:

Thanks, Steve! I'll check it out.
Looks like another option for me is the House of Pain ride in Danville. I live in the East Bay and weekends are busy, but that might work, too.

The Western Wheelers ride out of Shoup Park (in Los Altos) Thursdays at 6 PM. They break into three groups, so their fastest group might suit you.
