Angem tour of california, need tips please!

So I'm flying in from Dallas May 12 to see the Stage 3 race of the ATOC which ends in Mt. Diablo State Park. I need some advice on how to do it. I read on the website that they sell tickets for the end of the race, which i'm totally fine with, I just want to be able to see my favorite cyclists in the end and maybe get an autograph and have a good time. Does anyone have experience as a spectator to races like these, or if you're familiar to the area how do you access the park. thank you.
I hope to hear from any of you soon.

Boy, did you ever come to the right place!

Are you going to bicycle up?

Best chance to get autographs is in the start zone, but last year after the Diablo stage there were a bunch of team vans at the Mormon church on North Gate Road - maybe a few to be had there but for the most part the riders wanted out of the madness.

In case you're NOT riding your bike up the Mountain on Stage 3... here's a flyer with 20% off the cost of a VIP pass.

Website will say $200 plus $17 fee, this will make it $174 total.

I fractured my pelvis 10 days ago and I should be back to normal in 8 weeks when AMGEN comes through... but I asked my wife to buy me a pass for my birthday just because it'd be cool.
