Death ride help with a spot camping

I am looking for any bike forum member going to the death ride who is just camping by themselves near the death ride willing to let me throw a tent up in the same camping spot vicinity for one night on Friday before the saturday ride (I say by themselves to make sure there is a place to park my car at the spot). I totally messed up and cancelled my spot in Hot springs, because i was not going to make the ride. Well now i can make the ride and had gave up my camping spot. I don't have the cash with three kids or the energy to stay in carson city the only place with hotels available. If you are camping somewhere near Turtle Rock, i am willing to throw in a few bucks for sharing the spot. I won't be in until that friday night maybe 7-8 pm and would be loaded up and out by 430AM. Thanks

Just go to the BLM campground at Indian Creek Reservoir (past the airport on Airport Rd.). It's cheap, has hot showers, and trailer campers are always willing to share their tent pad if no tent site is available.
Had no problem finding sites the couple of years I rode the DR. Airport Road is a few yards across the road north of Turtle Rock so you get a quiet campsite only minutes from the start of the ride.

Thanks i will keep that in mind, still hoping to plan something in advance. I would hate to show up at 8pm, its dark and i am asking people to throw a tent out, not very respectful. If i was coming up in the morning, i would not be as concerned. Thanks for the idea though.

Some people just set their tent along Airport Rd. or in the woods bordering the air field, plenty of space there and it's quieter than at or around Turtle Rock.
