Tour de Forts (Port Townsend, WA)
Registration is open for the Tour de Forts, a charity ride scheduled for June 7 out of Port Townsend, WA. Proceeds benefit STEP ON IT!, a campaign led by the Jefferson County ReCyclery to encourage and educate area students in cycling.
Riders can pick from 10-mile, 17-mile, metric half-century, and metric century categories. Anyone who has participated in the Fort2Fort Bike Ride will recognize the routes, which go by and through the old coastal defense batteries at Fort Worden, Fort Townsend, and Fort Flagler.
