Access to new 520 bridge bike path

Anyone know where to access the new 520 bridge bike path from Seattle and Eastside? I guess it'd be on Montlake in Seattle but that area is always a mess. Don't want to explore it on a morning commute. Thanks.

it doesn't open until 2017 - the Emerald City ride was a one-time thing.

On the eastside the new trail starts at 108th. The WSDOT website says that the path on the bridge was opening concurrent to the bridge opening, but it will be an out and back since the west side is not open yet. I've not tried it yet, may go ride it tomorrow or friday and see if I can get onto the bridge. Anyone else give it a try?

argh... according to this: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/NR/rdonlyres...rian_Folio.pdf it doesn't quite go all the way to Montlake yet :(
so it'd be good for running but not commuting.
