What PNW charity rides are you planning to do in 2017?

Just like the title says, what charity bike rides are you planning to (or are considering) participating in this year?

I haven't finalized anything yet, but the ones I'm looking at are:
  • Monster Cookie Metric
  • Strawberry Century
  • Peach of A Century
  • Harvest Century

I can't do Reach The Beach due to other commitments that weekend

Anyone else?

Planning my 10th Seattle Tour de Cure and possibly Spokane also. In August, its my 10th 8 Lakes Leg Aches in Spokane

I always try to work the Monster Cookie into my schedule. It's a great ride and in a good place on the calendar for an easy ride of that distance.

I'm hoping to build up enough fitness to do the Pioneer Century. The climb up Sawtell Road is grueling, but the trip down the other side makes it all worthwhile.

I might do the Worst Day of the Year ride if I can get out in the next couple of weeks and prove to myself that I have the legs for the climbs on the 42 mile route.

Reach the Beach
Seattle to Portland
8 Lakes Leg Aches
Rotary Rivers and Ridges

Maybe more but those are the planned ones so far.

CF cycle for life in Oregon, 7/15
Probably volunteer, not ride, at the Portland (Beaverton) start of reach the beach.

Non-charity
Ronde PDX
And possibly:
Willamette valley scenic bikeway or
The ride out of sisters to McKenzie pass before they open it to cars!

I'll try to hit the Ronde and La Doyenne.

Thanks for reminding me about heading up the McKenzie. I think I have a couple of good routes to get there from Springfield, depending on how much and how course of gravel one can tolerate.

Another Freebie (mostly), Crater Lake Rim Ride (car free). I spent far more time on the road heading there last year than actually up on the rim, but also found a great hill for "training". So, with some luck, I'll head back to Sharps Creek before the Ronde.

And for commercial rides:
Blackberry Bramble.
Perhaps Tour de Lane.

I've been avoiding the "Reach the Beach" ride since they've stopped supporting the Monroe and Salem starts.

Monster Cookie
STP
Ride the Rim (if it's open, heard it will be closed due to road repairs)
McKensie Pass
Bridge Pedal
Harvest Century

Hi,

New here. My wife and I did the BikeMS Deception Pass Classic in 2016, and will do it again this year. Pretty ride; great cause, and excellent support.
