Good PDX Shop Jersey?
Greetings, my Oregon brethren!
I'll be up in the Portland area (Beaverton specifically) the week after Christmas to visit in-laws. As a souvenir/Xmas present to myself, I'd like to get a local shop jersey. Can you recommend your favorite Portland-area shop? I'd like it to be a real local place (so no Performance or REI, please) and a bonus if it's a good looking garment.
Thanks.

Veloce on Hawthorne has a really nice jersey, a bit far from where you are going to be, but a nice area to check out. Also if you are into cyclocross you should look out for the Cross Crusade stuff, https://www.crosscrusade.com/
Hope you have a good time

Oh, man! Team S&M! Gotta love that. I also like the River City "Commute By Bike" t-shirt.
Is there a shop that's more oriented to vintage or fixed gears? It looks like Sellwood would fit that bill.
Thanks, guys.

The two shops more oriented toward fixed gears are Bike Central and Veloshop. More highend, stuff. so more track oriented...

I like the Veloce one. I was just in there today getting some work done on my bike. If you decide to go there or to Sellwood Cycles on a weekend day, PM me and I could meet you there. Veloce, BTW, is very close to where I live. Both are in nice little shopping districts, although Veloce's is a bit more compact if you're on foot.
Will you have a bike at your disposal?

River City has some nice wool ones. They also have a very nice selction of winter caps. Veloshop downtown has a lot of fixed stuff. Their shop jerseys are kind of ugly though. They are also closed on Sundays.

Yes. It's also very close to Veloce and not too far from downwtown if you were headed there to see the sights anyway.
