    Peach of a Century

This fun and challenging century is September 23rd in Salem. Who wants to meet up and ride as a BF group? The season for group rides is winding down, this would be a nice one to ride together as a group, who's in???

The 2nd half of the 100-mile route is a little different this year (and I think a little flater?). It goes north to Silverton and Mt. Angel rather than west toward Lyons.

I'm signed up. There's a chance I'll ride the metric with my wife (and others can certainly join us)...otherwise I'm in for a BF 100-mile (or metric) group. My wife is not sign-up right now, and I might not know which way she's leaning until Thurs. or Fri.

Sorry guys, keeping my free days for the cross season, I had a lot of fun last year and it is still the longest I ever rode.
So Shifty how was Cycle Oregon? Pictures?

I'm in, meet at the start? Look for the short nerd on a silver/blue Motobecane.

Damn, this is a four hour drive for me from the Puget Sound area...I'm so tempted though!

    CO Ride

Someone asked about CO. It was great. Beautiful scenery, long hills, great temperatures. Here's a few pics.

Not exactly an overwhelming response here. We used to get better numbers of 'BikeForums' members for stuff like this. Oh well.

Anyway, my wife is up for doing this ride (metric version) so I think I'll mostly ride with her and a few others. Looking at the maps, I might jump onto the full century route between the 1st and 2nd rest stop. That would give me a 75-mile day, and I'd ride 2/3rds of the metric route with my wife's small group. Should be a nice mix (and give me a chance to open it up a bit in the middle). We plan to be rolling a little after 8am. Please feel free to join us.

What a ride! Great day, nice new route, good turnout, excellent peach and apple pie at the end.

    and pumpkin pie too.

A nice nice ride. The rest stops were a little less well stocked this year and everyone, including me, was grumping about the perpetually nasty Cytomax, but otherwise a great little event. They had somewhere around 900 participants up from last year's 700.
