Am I the only person in Seattle who didn't know about Branford Bike mail order?
I was looking for a hard-to-find TA chainring the other night and it boiled down to 2 options -- Peter White Cycles in NH and Branford Bike, a mail order place I'd never heard of. I decided to buy from Branford (seemed simpler), and only after I ordered did I realize it's a mail order place here in Seattle.
In any case, they have an amazing selection, good prices, and fast delivery. I ordered Monday, arrived at my house Tuesday.

Apparently used to be in Montana, but the store burned down:

Was sold to a new owner in Seattle, Rodd Wagner, and reopened in 2007. Apparently they have a retail location, too...Jeez, why doesn't someone tell me this stuff?

I have had several good experiences with Rodd at Branford. If you're in Seattle, stop by the store on capitol hill - it's not just a mail order outfit.

Even before Montana, it had a good reputation for mail order from the east coast - no doubt why they support the Yale cycling team.

Rodd is great. They are not open all day so call them to find out when he is present. He is trying to get the shop going and could use all the business he can.
